    Would anybody else be shocked to learn that the Royals were a below average baserunning team this year (-0.4 runs)? I knew we were up there (5th place), but with all of the narratives going into this series, I expected them to a lot better.

    The Royals as a team walked the least in the entire major leagues this season. Sal Perez and Alcides Escobar had the 2nd and 7th worst walk rates in the league, respectively.
