    Well, as a team they didn’t capitalize much. Lewis owned him, not the Twins. As a stark contrast, Swanson got behind 3-0 with much closer splitters than Gausman’s that missed down. Lewis was prob licking his lips for a FB, Swanson threw a curve over. Then off speed not close the next pitch. Gausman walks Lewis both times, who knows if they score anything

    Ex athletes are usually always the ones being the talking heads. Like building a narrative after someone has a terrible playoff game that he wasn’t focused yada yada. Just a different kind of narrative for a pitcher that looked like s*** on that given day. BP was just fine. Gausman also settled down.

    And it really can’t be understated how the team has to take advantage of WCs to make it in, even #3 WCs, like this year. They were supposed to be completing for division last few year and each May it’s apparent they will be fighting for a WC

    Unfortunately, Biggio is the strong side of the platoon. So sub .700 OPS with meh defense for 400-500 of the ABs. Seems like most are ok with that platoon though

    I didn’t play past high school but can remember being in the dugout and hearing “this guy is all over the place today”.. Same thing in my kids dugout.. pretty sure that basic philosophy never goes away He looked like s***. Wasn’t barely missing or anything. Balls were in the dirt and not close early on

    As much as I love Royce Lewis, he doesn’t have Vlads power. How he can take a FB on the outer half of the plate with ease to Right-Center and Vlad can’t, idk

    RedSox/Yankees is blasphemy. Others have long stroked TB’s yang here. Nothing wrong with applauding the O’s rise. Competition is good. Brings out the best effort in everyone.
