  1. A lot of these formulas aren’t even fully available for scrutiny. “Spoon feed me” generation
  2. We’ll see if he needs to come out the pen Game 7 to cement it
  3. 2006 and 2007, yes. I think a team would do it today. Just my opinion. But I think if Verlander wanted to do that next year (if he was a FA), he’d still get paid. He’s not quite dominant anymore, so maybe he fetches $20-25m or something
  4. Roger Clemens used to sign for $40m/yr in today’s money to pitch from August on. Teams are paying a tax for playoffs with hopes of playoff production. Of course every year he may not be good come October, but he’s a huge HR threat any given game. That threat also makes his .OBP more predictable than Cavan Biggio-types, as he’ll likely see walks even greater than the season rate from pitchers not trying to make a mistake. On the other spectrum is Jay’s hitters.
  5. Thomas > Varsho lol More growth space
  6. Can claim I’ve ever been a Schwarber guy, but contract is working out well at this point.
  7. Boxy told me to never change and I think it’s solid advice.

The Chiefs are kind of notorious for sleeping through parts of the regular season, but then put it together by the time playoffs come around. Kind of like the NE dynasty. You just assume they’ll win when it matters
  9. I wouldn’t be sweating it. Phillies have it in the bag. Keep the receipt, biotch
  10. He basically just said get a hobby hobby, geez
  11. Either make an offer, or stfu.
  12. I’m like the Wolf of BJMB street. If I’m in on a stock, time to jump
  13. Fair enough:) I’m hung over in bed anyway
  14. Why aren’t we talking, mate?
  15. Whatever happened to the Ace starting 1-4-7. Pussy generation. Shouldn’t be a #4 SP slot in the playoffs
  16. On the bjmb, Dinger gets the boys, mate.
  17. Like a modern tv show, make sure to pick one of everything
  18. On the opposite side of Gaston, is Lou Peniella, who gives off toxic masculinity vibes
  19. The Rangers got exposed last night, getting to back end of the rotation for the first time I believe. They could button that up next year signing Bauer. Maybe the loser of this series signs Bauer. Texas is a good location for him.
  20. I wonder in Toronto ownership is meddling in trying to extend Bo and Vlad for blank checks
  21. When you talk about not extending a player like that, you’re crossing lanes from “meddling”, to something that of course the owner is going to have a huge say in.
  22. Born/raised in NY. It’s the Socks or Yankees. The fact I was a Bluejay fan was a red flag early on I guess you could say
  23. Sorry to tell you that he died in 1995
  24. But to your point, I could agree ownership could be a factor. Though I’m not saying it’s the case with Boston, idk
  25. My brother was a Sox fan, and I remember he was in favor of trading Betts. The Jays may face a similar situation. It doesn’t mean it’s a white flag for a rebuild, sometimes it’s debatable what’s best. Keeping Betts seems to have been the move there though
