  1. Hunter Brown going to be their Verlander going into the PS: After having an 8.89 ERA through seven starts this season, Brown was asked to pitch in relief and pitched well enough that he was given another chance in the rotation, and he hasn't looked back since. Including that relief outing May 11, Brown has a 2.25 ERA and 1.07 WHIP in his last 125.2 innings.
  2. Are we Spaghetti bros? Not one of his better games to say the least. Kumar from the ashes to #30 BA now. Likely Top 10-15 preseason. I should sell my hot tips somehow Did I have him in both the board leagues?
  3. I won’t say how the board votes, as that would be politics, but let’s just say it seems they’re pushing pretty hard for the welfare. If I wasn’t partial to all the nerds here, I’m not sure I’d deal with the full page ads you have to close and stuff
  4. Merrill -950 pretty locked but Skenes +750 with a chance if he collapsed and he could pitch until the very end. Definitely not worth betting either way though
  5. At least you won’t bite yourself 2years from now.
  6. When I have I done my own research? But genuinely, thanks. What a rollecoaster. I think he’s back for good though. At least flirting with 1.000 OPS kind of guy
  7. What are Vlads splits since X date? They have to Judge-like. This is one of the few times I wouldn’t mind seeing a Max special
  8. Yeah, but the key to any business is looking at your KPIs. His logic is kind of ignoring that. It’s like, the data looks good today, why change it? The assumption being made is that things will just stay on the same trajectory with poor performance on the field. I think that’s hardly a given.
  9. He isn’t but I’m sure his cousin or something is. He’s betting $1m on his 50k salary at the factory
  10. Wow. I knew the totals but didn’t know that efficiency
  11. I feel like actually a lot of let you let homerism get in the way of your nerdy objective views, in terms of the Jays RP. It was always an ERA mirage. Not many horses over the years you’d feel confident bringing to the Derby. Yet you’d view it as a strength, when it was an objective house of cards. This is a legitimate take and not an empty troll. There just wasn’t anyone like these other teams that you could define as “nasty”. Jays have just mostly consistently turned out AAAA guys. I’m not sure if that has to do with drafting strategy, as I don’t pay attention past the 2nd or 3rd round. Like do they seek the “polished” type more of than not? Teams are going to draft more than “one way”, but I’m sure you’ll find trends with teams over a large sample size
  12. I remember picking him up a few times in fantasy over the years thinking at some point he could become a real asset once he started striking people out. Just didn’t happen
  13. As a casual, I’ll agree. I hated all the Joey Bats comps on guys that were primed to finally break out at 29
  14. I didn’t realize G.Conine still existed. I remember drafting him for his 70 power but gave up on him a couple years in
  15. Everyone is just too excited about what Jackson Chuorio is doing at Age 20 to appreciate it! And before that ban finger gets itchy, I’m going to pledge my next 15 posts will be non trolls
  16. ATL has lost an All Star team and they’re 3 games up for the last WC. Where’s the resident Girl Scout on that. She talked a lot of s*** on every bad luck break, as some sort of vindication for Jays s***** season. They’re still cooking.
  17. If you throw chicks in the mix, NFL is probably like 75% casuals and their fantasy team, or local team where they can 2 or 3 players.
  18. Or a casual fan. Which I am. In which most are. So what? Tell me to get off your lawn and move on
  19. I’m simply stating to you the fact that mlb is going to market the guys that are offensive first. The 6 WAR guy minus 1.5 defense =4.5, is going to be the star and not the 3+3 guy. Sometimes you get the best of both worlds of course.
  20. Really I’m just waiting for Laila to chime in with his stupid take that he thinks owns me. I thrive on the rivalry and conflict.
  21. I won’t deny it. Let’s say 90-95% though
  22. The Bluejays being terrible and taking over a rebuilding fantasy team has limited by trending knowledge and I’m just seeing the numbers I see. Jordan Walker looked pretty solid too. Think he was 20. Long ways before he’s face of anything. More under the radar now than anything else. Doesn’t have the sexy Elly, Acura, Tatis, Trout tools that gets hype and headlines Don’t forget Carroll too actually. Just not on that excitement level. The WAR has you guys creaming your pants.
  23. I try not to troll and then you just insist of lobbing softballs my way. I used the term “nerd” in a good way, as I wouldn’t be around nerds for 20 years here if I didn’t respect them. However, this is the typical nerd take. .270 and .750 OPS isn’t making you the face of anything. WAR Schmore. Otherwise Dalton Varsho would be a name everyone knows.
  24. Good luck making him understand that
  25. You shouldn’t let the fact that I’m smarter than you, be so bothersome. You certainly don’t see me gloating about it. Not a big deal. We’re all just posters sharing some opinions. Good times.
