Idk. There may be a lot of old school GMs saying he wont cut it as a SP standing 5'9. I really dont know anything on it to have an opinion..but just because everyone can name a xouple guys that did..what about the 50 that may not have. It would be an interesting article to look back and analyze SP in the last 5 or 10 years facing that challenge..and what results were like against normal SP prospects BB blog should do

Another wrinkle in things is how teams view other team's players. Theres prob teams that think either or both of Sancez/Stroman arent going to be qualiy ml..while they may grade another guy higher than consensus says

I will bring this up to you as I concede youre a much sharper guy than me.. I went to school for my MBA but can call a spade a spade and guys like you and nox are much sharper cookies. But Ive been over there. The subject is fascinating to me but im a definite agnostic. But know there are people over there..some ive met.. That are sharpee cookies than you guys. Ive met some of them and talked at length with them. Some of these are guys with PhDs from some of the most prestigous schools in the world. They have faith, or in some cases, reserved faith..but they dedicate their lives to taking the facts in the dirt and historical documentation to try to separate fiction from what may be fact. And no doubt much of the Bible can be a crock if taken literally So i guess from my own experience of meeting some of these deep characters, i take offense when its assumed anyone seeking out truth in religion is akin to hunting the Lochness monster. Pretty sure they dont have degrees in that at accredited U's

I have mentioned im agnostic but i think you guys are being unfair to paint all religious people as uneducated rubes that believe in something wheres theres not a shred of proof to hang on. There many archaeolohists/historians with PhD's and the like that believe after looking at the real picture. Of course theres nothing concrete and it takes a leap of faith still..but stuff like Jesus existing has a lot of support. Also, the evidence tells us he was a prophet (like Muhammad, who also made this "claim" later on), divinity was only radically introduced in one book of the bible, contrary to everything before it. One of the many things i can think of would be story or arc of covenant. Ethiopians have claimed for over 2,000 years that they have it. They never claimed it had powers like in movies. Its guarded outside (the place where its supposedly kept)..but inside one man has been charged with being the keeper and once entering and being ordained, he can never leave. So theyve at least been dedicated to the story. Im just saying we're not talking about dragon and alien hunters (though i will say that aliens are logically existing somewhere due to odds that there are livable conditions elsewherd in such a vast space)

Not a good analogy with the unicorns. There are many well educated archaeologists/historians and such that support some evidence from biblical times for instamce. Nothing concrete obviously but circumstantial..unlike a unicorn theory Just because some stories are obviously greatly exagerrated doesnt mean there cant be some truth.
