This is true. I wasn’t fully committed to a rebuild though. I’m actually having fun following a lot of minor leaguers for the first time but I also don’t like losing so it’s not all good -

You’re smoking that Canadian ganja looks like. They are nothing like the Bucks. Bucks are something closer to Raps in years’ past. Yes, Raps never had a GA but it was a deep roster best built for regular season victories. Middleton had a good year this year but he’s always just been solid. Gordon, Lopez, Brogdon, Hill... all solid players making up a good team but Golden State has the #1 or #2 best player in the world. A Top 5ish guy in Curry. Based on both ends, a Top 15 guy in Klay and Marc Gasol-type in his prime. Their role players fill in admirable most of the time as well.

Yeah, I guess you’re right. Like a sneaker company offering someone an extra $20m to sign with the Knicks I was just thinking of the loophole room for abuse but you aren’t going to stop pro athletes from getting paid. But this is likely why they won’t budge on NCAA guys. Definitely could game the system easy enough (not that it doesn’t get games already)

Idk. Just seems like something that wouldn’t be allowed. In this case it’s a developer but what if it’s someone connected to the ownership group sweetening the pot when there’s a hard cap scenario
