  1. Starting Tommy Malone in a close matchup on a Friday night in hopes he continued his short season magic wasn’t one of my better fantasy decisions
  2. But end of year, you need to cut down to 25 though, right? So you can’t carry the extra red flags? Asking here but obviously for BORED, assuming they’re the same
  3. Well, long term I’m hoping it helped trading you Bryant for Robert, Bart, and Kopech. Time will tell I guess
  4. Jokes aside...In looking at their Wk2 12-2 victory w/ .700OPS, O wins, 1 sv, 2hld and 37k’s... Abom clearly was ahead of the curve and did things the best of all the dynasty leagues by making teams have multiple matchups each week. Since most people didn’t want to do roto that was clearly the move to make. I just wish he didn’t make the first period 3 days long,
  5. From the above you’d think this was the LOD... *drumroll*
  6. Not smack talking but I’m assuming you had the benefit of some weak opponent weeks? You have one regular guy with an OPS over .850 and more than half your regulars are around .700 or below. Pitching numbers solid but I’d imagine there’s better on other teams
  7. Well Buxton is heating up. You were wise to rebuff all my PMs Jim
  8. Likely conspiracy afoot to keep me out of the playoffs.
  9. Was there any change made to the schedule? I remember only having one good team on my schedule (next week) and the rest were pretty easy but I see Spanky's over-performing but not entirely s***** team as my matchup Wk6
  10. Ok. Well I guess if Jim let’s me know by draft end he could pick
  11. Jim may still pick:) It’s almost over, 10m won’t kill you
  12. I would’ve done the 3rd. I just didn’t want to get rid of my second in your earlier proposal
  13. At least Bart, Kopech, and Grayson to start. Negotiable from there in terms of me adding. For a rebuilding team it’d make more sense i guess. For you, no prob
  14. I was talking about beating TCA
  15. If you’re willing to move VG, I was talking about a package of top tier milb assets. Might make sense for you rebuilding and needing more holes to plug. I see the deal kind of made sense for King being in win now mode
  16. I guess not in mlb capital though
  17. f*** me. I would’ve beaten that
  18. How often are C fantasy relevant? Outside of the guys like Bart and AR (who are hardly sure things), I’m not sure if picking a C in the first couple rounds is the best strategy. So you shouldn’t regret the miss
  19. Who is Madville? I can’t tell by spreadsheet or Fantrax
  20. This is actually good advice. I do have to catch myself from getting trigger happy
  21. Well, I mean I had good intentions and wanted to win now. I’ve done a good job rebuilding (prospect wise) my BORED team that wasn’t even even a contender in the first place. But not everyone is in it for the long haul. And sometimes even committed owners bail when something in life comes up. So that’s the minus of letting teams trade 2 years out.
  22. Wouldn’t my history be the better example for the second option? Trading away future picks and therefore making it harder on someone taking over said team? Doesn’t Gibbers just load up with more draft picks than you can humanly make. I think the former would be more of an issue than the latter unless Gibbers cloned himself
  23. I factored in the decreased value of the 2nd rounder for Allard. I figured you may have the skills to pluck a diamond from the rough with a high 2nd rounder. I was assuming I’d be a definite lottery team but even with an unimpressive week this week I’m still taking you to pound town
