  1. True but someone could claim you couldn’t do it naturally. I think junior said something along those lines “can’t do it without steroids”.. again, I’m on your side of debate though
  2. Though I agree with your argument, BJ isn’t the best example lol. Winstrol (his drug of choice) is a steroid very popular for gaining serious strength without weight gain
  3. Yeah his Sophomore year he didn’t play as he transferred from public to a private school and there was a 1 year sit rule in that case. He plays travel year-round so I’m like no biggie, just one year. Then missed last year and next year they’ve already cancelled Sectionals for the baseball season. So he’ll never play in a Sectionals. Bs
  4. My son just starting lifting for real last year, his junior year in hs. I was expecting him to be all-area for bb until they wussed out the season. Anyways, he got a lot stronger and didn’t put on any real mass.
  5. Have to hope all the bombs this year are a fluke I guess (hasn’t been issue before). Toronto not the best pitchers park obviously. Nice pickup though
  6. Yeah, I agree with you here. Even little league nowadays coaches don’t want players yelling “drop it drop it” from the bench or on the field. I haven’t seen it in competitive travel ball so you’d imagine turning pro this wouldn’t change
  7. I was hoping for Gausman for cheap if not Bundy but i read he was possibly playing the COVID card lol. players can opt out whenever they want this year so it’s basically like having a free no trade clause.
  8. Depends what kind of leash he gets if he still can’t throw strikes. Cost could be games. 31IP is a lot of IP to still be averaging 9bb/9.
  9. Guess that makes sense for a team in desperate need of SP that’s always thinking next year they’ll compete.
  10. Yeah they did give up a lot of quantity rather than high-end quality. So that will prob split the lines between who likes it and doesn’t
  11. You’d think like Martinez + Kloff + would be a little better and I’d do that for sure
  12. Basically former intriguing spects that have lost their luster
  13. Naylor, Arias, and Quantrill main pieces?
  14. I’ll hope for Bundy. Minor may be useless and Lynn will cost too much most likely. I’m not sure it’s “same only Bundy” as he’s definitely a different pitcher, not trying to live in the glory days of blowing people away. He’ll likely come fairly cheap
  15. That was the likely outcome
  16. I meant it’ll prob have to come in way of trade rather than FA and as you said, something short term. We all know Jays are run as business first, baseball team second
  17. Clev would be sweet. People can say all they want about Jays having payroll room but in this time of economic uncertainty, especially going into next year, I really doubt Jays are looking to add significant payroll

Mitchell and Murray are both having some crazy games all series. Should be a good GM 7
  19. I’m pushing 40 now. You still got some years on me though
  20. I can take whatever you’re dishing old-timer
  21. Bro.. people post much shittier. They’re all rosterable guys on playoff team if there’s a need
  22. Meh. My season is over. I like to play my prospects for the fun of it over tactics. Bart and Adell killed me this week. Then I benched Addell and he hit 2 bombs. I’d listen on the following producing vets for pitching prospects: Didi Seager La Stella
  23. Was he ever sitting at 92 though?
  24. Their IL is insane. Imagine the equivalent of Judge, DJ, Torres, and Stanton not to mention pitching
