  1. DJ is getting traded. Won’t be what the people that see him as an AS will feel is warranted. Life will go on
  2. Since my teams been awful I haven’t really paid any attention to who has a good team, but he must’ve just been like the fantasy equivalent of Tampa Bay with really good managing as the roster doesn’t scream dynasty. Even considering last few years rather than just this year
  3. Yeah I mean I’m taking mono as a fact. Just that when he went to ramp up, something else came into the picture. Just an opinion of course but I just think it’s understandable that they would keep concerns to themselves unless it was something blatant with a clear timeline (tear etc)
  4. Again, MRI results aren’t always “it’s torn, it’s partially torn”.. there’s stuff that’s subject to interpretation and so yes, there would be some benefit to not openly broadcasting your concerns about your asset. I’m not saying that I know but the logic that there is no reason they’d keep it close to the vest is mistaken. Again, as others have said, have they always been forthcoming in the past?
  5. Yes Max. I remember the pre-rules change days. I know you believe the news. You can always believe the news.
  6. You’d probably be very disappointed in what Jansen brings back too
  7. He got mono, was out for a week before he resumed baseball activities, then in the following months he kept having setbacks that had nothing to with mono? Not weird? All signs point to they saw stuff on his MRI they didn’t like. What benefit would you get to announcing that?
  8. Complete and utter escalation to personal lol. Though your disregard of the rules has been well noted already. But still worth pointing out in real time
  9. I’m not claiming it’s a word people wouldn’t know (especially in driving, though I believe there’s also such thing as a “sixth sense” as well); just one they won’t see used much in common talk. So perhaps “Word of the day” was a bad phrase.
  10. So if he could throw more strikes, we would probably see a big improvement. Eureka.
  11. I’m not knocking Stripling but he’s never really sliced it as a SP. The bottom will come out eventually. His best use seems to and long relief and when he’s needed as a fill in SP. Even if you don’t like Kooch, what’s the answer? A trade? Most people would be happy with that if it’s for someone clearly better but it probably won’t happen. Or do you want to give Anthony Kay and his upside a shot?
  12. Medicals aren’t always black-and-white and are open to interpretation sometimes
  13. Are we playing “word of the day”
  14. Bro, if you can’t have a laugh at yourself sometimes, you’re a d-bag. Nothing wrong with some light ribbing about giving a s***** opinion. In this case here, it’s just a bit too soon
  15. Yeah I’m with you there’s nothing wrong with a little bump… but it’s a tad premature.. also, I mean this isn’t Berrios expectations. Kooch is supposed to be a solid #5 SP- like 4.30 ERA or something. Not sure what the mean is there. But distinctively better than Roarke say. I think he’ll get there
  16. Everyone here has forgotten their girlfriend is ugly and undesirable at first glance. They have come to appreciate what’s on the inside and allowed that inner beauty to shine through in their eyes
  17. Looks like a fan that put on a jersey
  18. Ugh. Just saw I’m losing Mookie though
  19. Yeah I’m not going to stop trying. I have the pieces
  20. I was starting to claw my way back lol. It’s really not a bad team. I just didn’t really give it the need attention first month. Looks like I need to get my shots in on you while I can
  21. NYY can get swept next series. Not likely but wouldn’t be Buster Douglas knocking out Mike Tyson
  22. I mean he called you out for saying they’d easily win the WS. It’s a crap shoot man. Not a total crap shoot in that they’re be a favorite (NYY), but a crap shoot nonetheless
  23. Cavan Watch- 84 wRC+
  24. Yeah but I really don’t think going to pitch in milb games would be the goal. They’d want to work with him on mechanics and such outside of a game environment. That’s what I’d think anyway. Just think of the player too. It’s just a better way to approach it then sending someone down if you’re thinking it’s about getting them mentally and physically reset, rather than “this person isn’t ready for this level”
  25. Why even use an option? It was Biggio’s neck once too. Send them to Dunedin to get a reset; work with the trainers. Get yourself right physically and mentally and go on a rehab
