Last year someone asked who would be the highest rising project and I said Royce Lewis… which came to fruition and continued during his mlb mashing until he got hurt So naturally, I’m assuming everyone is wondering my hot stock tip for this year. And for good reason. Well here it is folks: Blaze Jordan. This year will see him fly up the prospects lists and while he’ll take a blow on those for defense, this is fantasy we’re talking. I’ll be bumping this brilliant stock advice as the season progresses

I don’t know the football cap well enough, or the Jets cap situation to understand how it would affect the team, but I read about how bad it f***s other teams up. Just doesn’t seem like a big win to put so much to a QB you’re not entirely sure isn’t on the sharp decline and giving up 1st round pick to do so… I imagine you have a divided Jets base over it. My brother is a fan and I’m going to text him now to see where he stands lol

I don’t think he’s worth a 1st round draft pick++ for the honor of paying him $50m/year past 40. So that’s probably why it’s stuck and so I side with Rodgers calling it out (if that report is true)

You’re only considering it an asset, and he only got the contract, because Tom Brady. Otherwise NFL QBs are always cooked at 40. Even Brett Favre had a swan song but was cooked at 40. I can only remember Jon Kitna and stop gap qbs after 40. Coming off a season like last, I’m not sure Rodgers gets anything like that contract

Yeah, that’s sort of the rub. If a player is trying to force a trade, it’s much better for the team to work behind the scenes like they’re trying to make a deal. I guess players just don’t trust teams will do the right thing, so they put it out there
