    Babcock has this weird affinity with pairing a random scrub with his stars. Just f***ing stack lines and press for that goal. We don't need to see the corpse of Patrick Marleau or the likes of Connor Brown on the ice late in a game.

    I hope the people who had the temerity to jeer Gardiner on home ice realize how essential he is to the back end. They desperately need him and Dermott back. Only Rielly is capable of transitioning well out of his own zone and making a crisp breakout pass. The replacements are just trash.
