    I recall reading a scouting report on Pillar from baseball prospectus a few years back. They talked about how he would most likely end up being an org guy, but that if he was going to make it to the show, it was because he was "scrappy". They elaborated by saying that Pillar is really good at "fouling" balls off. Yeah what's a foul ball again?
