  1. Poor man's? Steamer600 (HR/SB/RBI/R): Rajai --> 9/43/70/56; .266/.310/.377 Revere --> 3/35/59/40; .283/.315/.346 Of course, Revere probably plays every day. But a fantasy owner in this league wouldn't be playing Revere every day...
  2. The waiver draft looks just as flat this year as it turned out to be last year. No notable separation in my mind between guys like Fien and Hunter, and first round guys like Shaw, Soriano, and Broxton. Rajai Davis could also very easily outperform Danny Santana or Scott Van Slyke (and also Kang or Montero, sadly).
  3. 56 SVG - Tommy Hunter 57 TF - Tanner Scheppers 58 TRM - Rajai Davis 59 FTD - Casey Fien 60 N49 - Allen Webster 61 GP - 6:33pm 62 JF 63 BOX 64 HVK 65 KK 66 SVG 67 SAM 68 SVG 69 SPG 70 BTS 71 ZRO 72 TCA 73 NJH
  4. Last year he tried to switch to a predominantly 2-seamer throwing groundball pitcher. A 91mph sinker seems like a slightly better weapon than a 91mph straight ball. The positive way forward for Gallardo has that transition working out, and him maintaining most of his overall skill while turning into a guy with more grounders and less K's. Projections don't particularly like him (especially Steamer - 4.61 ERA in Arlington), but they might not really "see" the transition he made last year. As a locked in SP with some track record though, he's still probably better than replacement level. Many worse players were kept!
  5. Not sure if this is good news or bad news. Will having only 30% of his meniscus lead to chronic pain and a decrease in stolen base and base running runs, and defensive runs saved?
  6. jeans and socks and shoes year round
  7. I see you decided to double down on the douchebagerry. Re2pect.
  8. Probably because you would post stuff like this and Sammy would never even think about doing the same.
  9. Didn't notice Kaner had C
  10. I'll take Spankys side. Positional scarcity.
  11. Hard to stomach with that vesting option, even if he's free in terms of players and it's only Rogers' money.
  12. Can you still throw that far though?
  13. The key is to sever all ties to any real life loved ones, and learn to live on poptarts while extracting vitamin D from the effervescent glow of the laptop light at 3am.
  14. I missed a couple of adds last year because I spent too long looking up info to decide who to drop.
  15. 9 2/3 8/7 3/2 2/3 1/0 it's viable to keep a couple of spots open for streaming / quick upside adds.
  16. Wow, very kind to Pompey's value. And Rymer Liriano - that doesn't seem to make much sense. I think they've got Bradley way too high. Franco can f*** right off too. Honestly, would anybody in any league trade Norris for Bradley? What would the motivation for that be - that Bradley had a super high draft position four years ago and throws harder? Bradley's injuries last year can't explain his Kyle Crick-ish command issues, and that guy has fallen off the prospect map.
  17. The world needs more Jon Nieses, fap fap fap
  18. #71 A steal for a closer, even in pre-cutdown market terms. For some reason I decided to trade for AJ Cole last minute because he was free. Not sure if keeping an NA guy in my 20 was such a wise move. But, I might not trade for Benoit if I had have kept K-Rod.
