  1. http://www.sbnation.com/mlb/2015/4/8/8371127/brett-lawrie-oakland-strikeouts Every pitch Brett Lawrie say last night. Bat waggle looks dimed in those hot white pants
  2. Sure, similar peripheral profiles offensively. But you don't HAVE to walk a lot to be good. See Adam Jones. Harrison projects to be a decent hitter. Even if you correct his BABIP from 2014 and you make him like a ~.275 hitter, his WAR would still have been quite good.
  3. Well they aren't paying him to be a 5 WAR guy. The free agent years they purchased are only costing them ~10M. He doesn't even have to be an average regular to earn those! Love this extension for Pittsburgh. He projects to be an above average regular this year (age 27), they just got cost certainty for 2016+2017, and they bought his age 30 season (2018) + options on his age 31 and 32 years. The position flexibility is nice too with Harrison.
  4. Yes. Pages taking forever to load and I'm scared as f***.
  5. Call me when Chris Shelton comes out retirement you wanker!
  6. Walk rate was there the year before. Minor league peripherals were always good. Has the type of name that you'd expect to break out late. Steve. Great name.
  7. Oh, I'm sorry, did you miss the 102 last year with excellent everything?
  8. Let's wait for more than 2 games buh....
  9. By 2 do you mean 104?
  10. Rules to live by: 1. Never Tweet. 2. Always Souza.
  11. Just makes you kind of look like a douche tbh
  12. Lots of GG quality defenders though in Kiermaier, Longo, Rivera, Loney. And then competent bro's like Souza and Jennings. Only one hack (Cabrera). Rays are all pitching and D this year. Only team in the division with projected Runs / game under 4.00 Also only team in the division with projected Runs Against / game under 4.00 Only team in the AL with both under 4.00
  13. It looks like a nearly hopeless LoD team.
  14. Ah, the old Patrick Roy. http://i55.tinypic.com/wa3hjm.jpg
  15. Possibly. Maybe. Or deflated by a lack of eye-popping ratios.
  16. Oh I remember. Really hard for someone in my position to deal Scherzer for prospects though.
  17. Only real problem I saw with Tanaka yesterday was that he wasn't changing the eye-level of the Toronto hitters at all. EVERYTHING was lower third or beneath the zone. 2014: http://www.brooksbaseball.net/plot_profile.php?s_type=2&gFilt=&pFilt=FA|SI|FC|CU|SL|CS|KN|CH|FS|SB&time=month&player=547888&startDate=01/01/2014&endDate=01/01/2015&minmax=ci&var=count&balls=-1&strikes=-1&b_hand=-1 Yesterday: http://www.brooksbaseball.net/plot_profile.php?s_type=2&gFilt=&pFilt=FA|SI|FC|CU|SL|CS|KN|CH|FS|SB&time=month&player=547888&startDate=01/01/2015&endDate=01/01/2016&minmax=ci&var=count&balls=-1&strikes=-1&b_hand=-1

  19. To be fair, it's basically everybody in the media. New York is rattled because of all his 90mph two seamers.
  20. Imagine Stro gets healthy in August/Sept but can't come for a couple weeks because he has exams
