  1. Of course, but its nice to also be involved in the divisional race. Can't wait for Reyes to come back.
  2. It's going to be nice to see us only six games back in the division and not in last place, just as long the Tigers go on and win tonight.
  3. 7-2 Tigers after five.
  4. Austin Jackson RBI single up the middle. 5-2 Tigers, bottom of the fourth.
  5. I hope the Tigers destroy the Sox pen tonight. Webster at 32 pitches after one inning.
  6. Thank God for Victor Martinez,Grand Salami. 4-2 Tigers
  7. Prince Fielder is a selfish pos. Swung at ball four twice with the bases loaded and no out.
  8. Lind has found his 2009 form thanks to Mottola. With Cito and Murphy out of his face, I don't see why he can't continue to be a consistent hitter. Don't forget Lind also flourished in the minors under Mottola also, so the ss is relevant. He isn't going anywhere.
  9. Looks like Jimenez will finish off the night 4-5 (two doubles, two RBI's).
  10. It's all good bro. Iv'e been around long enough to know how to except unmet expectations. Let's have some fun for now.
  11. Could be the next Yadier Molina, but more athletic.
  12. f***ing right.. A.J improves the team on defense alone. If Jimenez keeps this up into next year,AA will be a fool not to trade JPA (as long as he keeps his power numbers going). Defense at the catcher's spot is way too important. BTW,Jimenez is leading off the next inning.
  13. Really? He's way more valuable at catcher. It probably doesn't matter anyway,AA will probably trade him at the deadline for Utley.
  14. The fact that his last double to right center was hit on a line in a hitter's count (2-1) indicates that he isn't pull happy, and is content on hitting the ball where it's pitched. You got to love it.
  15. Lol,you beat me to it. Love the fact that he uses the whole field, great approach.
  16. Jimenez just smoked a double to right center that scored Loewen from first. Now 4-4 tonight with two doubles and two RBI's. Now hitting .515 with a 1.183 OPS in AA.
  17. 3-3 tonight with a 2B and an RBI. Transitioning to AA doesn't seem to be a problem so far. I'm starting to get excited about this guy because he has seemed to have found something offensively. We all know what he can do defensively. It's funny how he can emerge as a solid every day MLB catcher. He may even turn out to be a better every day player than d'Arnaud.
  18. Exactly this. f***ing people on here act like the Orioles are the 1927 Yankees for f*** sakes. I bet the same people weren't feeling too good about going into Texas for four games either. Get your positive thinking caps on you bozos!!
  19. Miggy numbers..
  20. Interesting stat.. League average in MPH on the ball coming off the bat is 83.5 , Davis' last HR was 103.5 MPH off the bat.
  21. He just smashed his second HR deep to right. Orioles laying a beating on the Tigers 13-3. Orioles are for real.
  22. Love the post game breakdown Facto, appreciated. Izzy's HR was hit to left btw.
  23. Strong defender in all aspects. Not as much power as JPA,more of a gap type hitter with 15-20 HR power. If his bat develops to be MLB passable, we've got our man. Should see him for an audition September 2014.
  24. Lind's approach is crazy good right now and he should maintain it as long as Mottolla is around. The law of averages has to drop his BABIP some, but if this is a magical season,it may not drop much. It's gotten to the point now that every Lind AB is being highly anticipated. This reminds me of the Olerud AB's in '93,(maybe not to the full extent,YET)when we all thought he would possibly tickle .400 If Lind even comes close to hitting .363 this year, the Jays will be playing meaningful games in September.
