Why isn't Boni batting ninth tonight and Kawasaki eighth? There is no logical explanation for this,in fact ,Boni batting ninth is healthier for the line up. -

Does that prevent him from putting the contact play on with one out and Boni on deck? Your not going to get many opportunities to score against Masterson,so how about rolling the dice and put some pressure on their defense? Gibbons is a horrible in game manager, except for handling the pen.

Contact play should be on with one out and Boni on deck. Gibbons you truly are stupid. Run scores there.

He was asked last night by Tabby (i think) if he would try something different with the offense. Gibby looked seriously confused and dumbfounded saying "You know,you got to be careful. You don't want to run into an out". I can't remember the last time he put on the hit and run. Cito revisited.

I've noticed his putting up his third good start in a row. Hits/IP a bit high,but ERA is decent. He's 25 now and i can see him tickling the lower portion of the depth chart in a year or so.

Gose is going through his first sustained down trend of his career. I don't think he's enjoying his time in Buffalo too much,with management yanking his chain a little lately. He'll be ok,just have to let him work through it. A change of scenery i think would give him an instant lift. An injury to one of our outfielders might be the best thing that could ever happen to him right now. I know Pillar is doing well, but AA will give Gose an extended look if the opportunity presented itself.
