  1. Worst case,Lawrie up with two runners in scoring position. Besides,if Rajai is an out(which he was),you have a prime DP candidate in Thole up with runners on first and second. Gibby can't think that far ahead. There you go,we should be up 2-1 now. Gibbons is such a stupid f***.
  2. Yeah Thole is on deck but you still have to bunt there.
  3. Izturis bunts with two strikes no less, but Rajai swings away against a tough rightie. Gibbons for Prime Minister.
  4. Loving Colby's new approach. He's starting to put up some serious CF value. I say keep him.
  5. 4pm Eastern
  6. If the Jays swallow half of MB's salary, the Angels do it. MB(half of remaining salary) + Delabar for Kendrick. MB and Kendrick become a financial wash and the Angels get Delabar on the cheap. I don't think AA eats half of MB's salary though. That would mean we would be paying Kendrick $19mil / year for two years to play second base, plus losing Delabar.
  7. Well i think the Angels will have interest in both MB and SD. What would have to added in your opinion?
  8. Why? The Angels are not looking for a rental.
  9. MB + Delabar for Kendrick. No cash. That's what it would take unfortunately,as the Angels acquire a closer on the cheap. Jansenn will not get it done.
  10. f*** Melky.. Free Kevin Pillar !!
  11. The number of outs in a Derby round should be reduced to eight.
  12. Runs like Pence, defends like him also. Same type of approach, with Pillar being more quiet at the plate. The only thing right now is that Pence looks to have a little more HR pop, but don't let that fool you cause Pillar is physically solid. Line drives all day.
  13. A good comparison to Pillar would be Hunter Pence,IMO.
  14. One of his K's was swinging on a 1-2 breaking ball down and away. I can't seem to remember his other K,but i think it was on some belt high heat with two strikes swinging also.
  15. Agree 100%. Let him get some more reps in at the AAA level,at least the rest of this season and go from there. He won't have a problem maintaining a plus .300 average from what i've seen,so let the cards fall where they may. I really hope AA doesn't trade him,as we need an infusion of his type of game in the line up.
  16. I'm in Buffalo and was at today's game. I'm not a pro scout but i'm telling you guys,Kevin Pillar has got the goods. This kid can flat out hit. His approach is solid and has an uncanny ability in getting the ball to meet the sweet part of the bat. He went 2-4 with a double and a triple and they were both hit where they were pitched,on the outer half going the other way. His triple was hit in the right center field gap and was a line drive that was cut off just before the track, but the speed on the bow legged kid was no match. His defense is above average, covers a lot of ground and has a Rajai Davis type arm. From what i saw,and i know its only one game, this kid shouldn't have a problem sticking in the MLB as an everyday left fielder. In all seriousness,he's an upgrade all around to Melky. Anthony Gose can play some serious f***ing D,what a hose. I hope he can find consistency at the plate, although he doesn't look over matched at all. Sierra's game winning double came with two out ,Gose on third and Kawasaki at second. It was a high majestic shot that scraped off the top of the wall in left center. Coca Cola Park has a good atmosphere, and best of all ,Canadian money is accepted at par. Buy a bag of popcorn and pay with a $100 bill and get American money in return,LOL.
  17. I don't know Wtf the problem is giving a 24 year old who's tearing up AAA a shot. If people here can honestly believe that Melky can put up the same PED induced numbers while clean, then they should get their heads examined. Better yet, give AA a call and go together. Ever wonder why Melky body is hurting so much this year? This Melky fiasco this year can be read by an elementary grade student because it's as clear as f***ing day. At least we're only stuck for one more year at 8mil,not too bad considering. Let him DH the majority of the time and he'll probably put up half decent numbers not having to play the outfield, then flip him at the deadline. I'm all for giving Pillar a fair shake next year. Payroll is going up $20 mil with the same roster next year. Now there's a reason to say "good God, make it stop".
  18. Poor Gibby is going to get the axe because of fatty Sr and Jr.
  19. I'm f***ing telling you guys right now, trade Bautista for a small haul now.
  20. Bingo. If he respects the presence of EE on deck, then he would of shortened up at 3-2.
  21. Lol at Bautista not shortening up with EE on deck. Selfish player.
  22. Gibby is running s***. Oliver is in there to hopefully sugar coat his trade value. I think there was more than meets the eye when Gibby was hired.
  23. Beeston.. "Light me up another cigar you fat f***ing Greek"
