Where did I say Pompey was the better defender? I actually said that Gose was, so read the f***ing post before you comment f*** nuts.

Pompey is better than Gose by a wide margin. Gose probably has the better arm, and could be a bit better defensively. Offensively, Pompey is in a different stratosphere. Watch his at bats from today's game and google his in game videos. Compare his approach to Gose's and you won't need to ever wonder again. His FSL numbers and BB% and low K% don't lie. Let's see how he adjusts to AA, which he seems to be coming around. I'm 100% convinced if you threw Pompey in the MLB right now,he'd be an overall better player than Gose.

Well, he owned the FSL for almost half a season. Let's see how he does now that he's getting familiar with AA. With that approach, he has a good shot at developing into a MLB regular. The CF defense is already there.

On his K he took a wicked 2-1 breaking ball on the outside corner ( debatable ) for a strike and then swung through a similar type pitch on 2-2 , did not look over matched.

Pompey looks comfortable from both sides of the plate, nice approach and knows the strike zone. Nice short compact swing and plus plus defense in CF with 40-50 SB type speed. This needs to stay in our system.

I think he was looking to go the other way,looking for that outer half fastball. Bottom line is that Reyes should have been on the move. If he was, it would have been first and third with no out with Bautista up.

Gibby is a f***ing idiot. He'll hit and run with scrubs, but not with Melky and Reyes with a 3-1 count. I'm convinced that Gibby is a horrible in game manager.
