    If league average is 100 wRC+, then wouldn't it be more accurate to take the two wRC+ ratings from shortstops (83) and second baseman (93) and combine them for a league average of 88 wRC+ for middle infielders?

    To be fair, there hasn't been enough playing time surpassed after his swing change to see whether or not it will actually increase his offensive worth. He's always had a nice swing, but it was long with too much movement and he had no decisive plan at the plate. I like the fact he shortened his swing and is a lot more still with his hands. His pitch recognition seemed to improved now that he can let the ball travel a bit more with the shorter swing.
