    Nice to see Schneider taking a stance and sitting Belt again. We all know Ross is trying to manipulate him into the line up.

    Yup, but Ross would rather spend 9.3M on a washed up player like Belt, just because he's a LHH. You'd think he'd learn after the the team was let down several times by a weak ass pen. Evaluating pitching is a major weakness with the current management, not going to win many WS titles without a decent pen. I know it's been done before, recently with the 2019 Nats, but the stars and planets need to align perfectly for that to happen. Atkins has been below par as GM since being here.

    You just described Belt's profile. At least Horowitz will give you a good at bat and put the ball in play. Belt does have a bit more power though.

    I don't think it's premature to say, but putting Belt on a phantom IL stint and seeing what we got in Horowitz for a few weeks is looking good from here.
