  1. Like I said, if Tulo goes to a 1/2'' shorter bat, he'll become the Colorado Tulo once again. Think about today's AB's, all the hard hit balls were down in the zone. He can't get on top of the high heater anymore, unless he goes with the slightly lighter bat.
  2. Hold them here, next inning we do some damage.
  3. It's ok, you can have the Internet.
  4. OAKLAND, Calif. – The Toronto Blue Jays secured one of their pending free agents by signing first baseman Justin Smoak to an $8.25-million, two-year deal Saturday that includes a $6 million option or $250,000 buyout for the 2019 season. The deal includes escalators that can push the option up to $8 million. A combined 950 plate appearances over 2017 and ’18 takes the option to $7 million, 1,000 takes it to $7.5 million and 1,100 takes it to $8 million. The Blue Jays now have $88.625 million in guarantees to Smoak, Troy Tulowitzki, Russell Martin, Josh Donaldson, J.A. Happ and Marco Estrada in 2017. Smoak is batting .234/.333/.402 with nine homers and 23 RBIs in 82 games this season.
  5. Is that with the 1100 PA incentive kicked in? Or do the PA only determine the third year's options' annual salary?
  6. JD got hit on the underside of his forearm. He's fine.
  7. Yep.. Dickey just being Dickey while Stroman was still on vacation working on some rhymes.
  8. Dickey with some more "waterfall" knucklers coming up.
  9. Pillar took forever to get out of the box. I thought he was going to beat that out for sure.
  10. Saunders in the process of reverting back to his career norms.
  11. Well, they got that illusive first hit out of the way.
  12. Of course Dickey is the one who gives up three run HR bombs as first MLB hits.
  13. Oh f***, here we go. Need a DP big time.
  14. That was an error. It wasn't totally routine, but a play that gets made 95% of the time.
  15. Lol.. Thole just kept running around third with his head down like a 10 year old girl.
  16. Thole you get a pass this time, but you are one dumb baseball player.
  17. Not on that second cookie fastball.
