  1. If you have decent power and barrel up a baseball, the ball will travel well no matter where it's hit. JD is good at barreling up a baseball.
  2. Bautista is trying to establish himself as an everyday right fielder to end out his final contract year and Gibby knows it. Gibby is a "player's manager" and unfortunately for the better of the team, he probably won't pull Bautista for defense unless the game isn't that close. He will however replace Saunders with the excuse that he's doing it to protect him from injury, thus getting f***ed for some serious money in the off season. Yeah, Bautista has an upper hand on Gibby and it's pretty obvious.
  3. Cashner as a long man / sixth inning guy could have value. He'll get destroyed as a starter in the AL, let alone the AL East.
  4. What a f***ing deal. Holy s***..
  5. Lol.. He's probably thinking of Pinball..
  6. Aaron Sanchez is not the same physical person he was last year. He's 25lbs heavier and a lot stronger. There's no guarantees that moving him to the pen will prevent injury. His strengthening and conditioning program in the winter can be applied just like adding in another season of work. Pitchers frequently would jump in innings pitched years ago and it rarely resulted in TJS. Nolan Ryan went from 150 IP to 330 in one year in his early years, and maintained an average of over 270 innings for years. He took care of himself physically and is a big guy. Same goes for Sanchez. If there is a noticeable decrease in velocity and bite to his curve, then there should be reason to speculate. If he says he's fine and isn't feeling any discomfort during and after his starts, then let him go.
  7. Don't be surprised if Upton finds his comfort zone again being back in the AL East. Baseball is funny that way.
  8. 100% He can actually throw a baseball.
  9. If it puts Smoak's big dumb f***ing ass on the bench then i'm all for it. Improves our outfield defense and improves the offense drastically.
  10. I wonder who we'll have to give up.
  11. Stupid pitch selection. Use your fastball you moron, it's your best pitch.
  12. I guess it makes too much sense?
  13. Anybody having Internet issues with Rogers in the Toronto area?
  14. HR vs the Red Sox. 2-1 Detroit.
  15. What a pitch.. Tulo is so good.
  16. Smoak should start one game a week max.
  17. Shapiro's knowledge in talent assessment is worrisome.
  18. That looks like the play i made back in 92.
  19. I don't know.. I mean, you have to think gap to gap with a runner on third and less than two out. EE took a wild HR cut.
