    Look at that strike out pitch to EE again. The ball started six inches outside right out of his hand. I understand a well located tight slider is very difficult to square up.

    Give it a rest Spank. If you shorten up with two strikes and think gap to gap instead of HR, that extra split second of ball travel would have allowed EE to lay off a slider that started outside right out of his hand.

    I think the team is stronger with Upton and his defence in LF, opposed to having two pylons in the corners. Upton i think is coming around a bit vs RHP (2 hits vs Tanaka yesterday), while Smoak is just pure s*** with no speed and average defence.
