  1. It's mind boggling on how bad we are at scoring a runner from third with less than two out. What kind of f***ing approach is Guermillo preaching? How does he remain employed?
  2. Leave Jackson in for the tenth inning, unless we score five runs or something here.
  3. Why wasn't Varsho running again there? If the second baseman was responsible for the bag at second, which it seemed, Kirk probably beats that out.
  4. Give Ross a chance, it's only been eight years.
  5. We should easily have scored 5-6 runs tonight but are tied 3-3.
  6. Yeah, sometimes people pull s*** out of their ass, literally.
  7. You got to be kidding comparing Moreno to Martin. Moreno had already shown to be a top tier defensive catcher with a good swing path that should translate into a lot of hard contact. WTF did Martin show us?
  8. Merrifield needs to bat lead off, drop Springer in the middle of the order.
  9. What career? Two years worth? All he's shown is a low OBP and low contact numbers. Regardless of his defence and running into a HR once in a while, he wasn't worth what we gave up.
  10. So first and third with no out and Varsho attempts to bunt, TWICE before striking out. This is looking really bad.
  11. Bottom line is that Ross traded for Varsho based on his offensive projections. This is why Ross is a turd. Berrios at least was an established MLB pitcher with a track record, unlike Varsho.
  12. I still think Varsho cost too much. I like the type of player he is but he just doesn't possess MLB standard offensive fundamentals which has been obvious. If you think trading Gurriel in a contract year and your number one prospect is worth getting a JBJ clone, then whatever. I'd actually prefer JBJ at 26 years old than Varsho by a country mile.
  13. Some here are too worried about Varsho losing his value if he doesn't play much. As if having to establish a s***** hitters value should supersede team wins.
  14. WTF is Berrios throwing 3-1 change ups to the #8 hitter? Holy f***ing maddening.
  15. Yeah, it's time but I bet they're hesitant to make the move because Springer is a lead off lifer
  16. What a savvy trade good ol' Ross pulled off for Varsho.
