Irregardless, those base hits were not hit hard and could have easily been outs instead of base hits. The law of averages were not on his side that inning as it's not mathematically probable that a team will get four base hits on the ground in one inning.

Of course we hit a ground ball to the right side with the first baseman holding on a runner but it still turns into a DP.
