So Solarte swings at basically everything except a 3-2 fastball that clearly caught the strike zone, and then tantrums in the dugout afterwards. Can't wait for the overhaul come next season.

Yeah I was thinking along those lines also,but at this stage of the game, a mound visit from Martin followed by a slow walk out from Gibby would have done the job.

Wow, you're a crusty f***. Stop pretending you know what the details are to his injury. Vladdy is a future franchise player and they're going to be overly cautious in a season that doesn't mean anything. Why are you pushing so hard for him to be seriously injured? Do you own some Vladdy stock that you're shorting?

Defensively he's average, but should get better with more reps. Offensively, he walks more than he strikes out and has a good contact rate. His power should develop into a 15-20 HR type. With catchers the hitting side usually develops a bit later than other positional players. Getting his eyes checked and now wearing prescription glasses did wonders. He'll be up here late April/early May next year with Vladdy. We're going to pay Martin $20M next year to tutor him.

It looks like that slow developing play to second base would have been beaten out by Pillar, if he was used to run for Morales. It would have made sense with Pillar, as him taking over the DH spot still sort of gives him a day off. f***, Gibby doesn't get many opportunities but he seems to be pushing a lot of wrong buttons. He won't last the month.

Gray got way more calls in his favour than Gaviglio did. That strike out on Smoak was at the middle of his shins. It's a f***ing joke the way the Yankees seem to be on the right side of these calls the majority of the time.
