    Chuckles seems to think an injured Springer is better than Kirk. This whole got to respect the vets regardless of performance is f***ing sickening.

    Can Kirk not DH the first game and catch the second game? Wouldn't it make sense to rest Springer for one of these games? I guess if Jansen is Ryu's personal catcher, Kirk could have DH'd the first game while Springer sits? If Kirk catches tonight, he most likely won't catch tomorrow's early game. Will Chuckles sit Springer tomorrow for Kirk, probably not. Not having Kirk start 2 out of the 3 remaining games would be horrible management.
