    The only way baseball becomes more popular IMO is if they significantly cut the number of games per season. Like under 100. There’s just way too many games for people to get excited over a single game’s outcome. I don’t want that to happen though, as my love for baseball is largely due to the fact I can watch a game on any given day from April-October

Also something interesting to note is that Samson and Anthopoulos likely worked with each other in the Expos front office from 2000-2002

    Lol what how would it be jimmy key? It’s clearly the new uniforms, so that dates it as 2012 or newer. And if you look at the field, there’s a dirt infield so that dates it 2016 or newer. I’d guess Borucki EDIT: pretty sure the first pic is Pannone. Lefty and looks like #45 on the glove.

    I’d say Ryu is a rare case where we didn’t have to overpay, but its 100% because he isn’t American. With American players, we definitely have to overpay

    Wow how the hell did Texas get him for NOTHING. Gotta think at least 20 other teams would have offered something better

    Yeah I just don’t think that Ryu is the FA we should splurge on. Way too many question marks with the health. Would rather overpay for the top-tier players like Rendon, Cole etc, but the free agent market for pitching has been pretty bonkers this year. Not worth it just to spend for the sake of spending

    I wonder how the Yankees front office will try to weasel their way out of paying Cole when he’s 37 and not producing.

    The Montero/Pineda trade was pretty big and a even swap, even if they both ended up being flops. That’s all i got though

    Yankees reportedly have a 245million 7 year offer on the table for Cole. Not sure if this has been posted yet, but yeeesh.

    Not saying its a bad move, just funny that he seems to favor ex-jays and players he knows. Examples: Bautista, Donaldson, Hechavarria, O’day, d’Arnaud, Markakis, and probably more that im missing. Wouldn’t be surprised if they sign Stroman next year. Actually i’m expecting it.
