  1. Pretty sure they’ll be fine. They’d have to have an epic 2011 Redsox-esque meltdown to miss the playoffs. But I doubt they get past the first round.
  2. I have no delusions about the fact that the Yankees are a far better team. Jays don’t stand much of a chance in the playoffs anyways. I think they’ll still make it but I can’t really see them beating any of the other teams. Will be nice for the youngins to get some playoff experience though
  3. Yeah that’s usually an out
  4. 3rd is not an extremely important slot in the lineup. 1-2-4-5 are more important
  5. Its gonna be horsecrap if Roark can’t pitch at least 4 innings
  6. Judge just came off the DL. Just in time to f*** us hard
  7. His July and August stats are excellent, but he's been cold as f*** since September hit. He's just a streaky guy, but im happy he's still been able to keep his K numbers down through this cold streak. Its weird, he goes through these long periods where he doesn't get any extra base hits, then he'll have a few weeks where he smashes homers every game. I don't think he's hit a homerun in like 3-4 weeks.
  8. Maybe their rotation, but besides that the Jays have better everything
  9. Is getting picked off a mental error or a physical error?
  10. Pretty sure Grichuk has been battling back problems all season. That’s why.
  11. Nah I don’t think he’ll play anymore this series. Probably Villar at 2nd and Biggio OF
  12. Yup i was annoyed he wasn’t getting play time and now i’d be happy to never see him in the OF again
  13. Lol that should have been 3 outs. Get him the f*** out of there
  14. Lol Fisher’s bat aint worth the circus in the OF
  15. Idk why people keep acting like we let Urshela “slip through our hands” or something like that. He had a good 450 plate appearances for the Indians over 2 seasons before becoming a Blue Jay and his offensive numbers were absolute dogshit. He was always considered a glove-first guy and he showed absolutely 0 promise with the bat. A lot of useless players end up playing well for the Yankees for a couple seasons for whatever reason, Urshela is just the most recent case. Wouldn’t be surprised if he settles in as a 80 wRC+ player by 2022.
  16. This Dodgers/Padres series should be fun
  17. Would be funny if they just left Roark out to dry for his next start. Let him give up 10 runs and keep pitching lol
  18. Seems like their defensive positioning isn't great. We've had a bunch of easy singles this series. Maybe just luck
  19. Yeah definitely looked intentional. But I agree they can't really call the runner out at 1st. I think if they had missed the out at 2nd he would have been called out though
  20. You’d really prefer Font to pitch and give up 5 runs and then have to use all our best guys because the game is close?
