  1. You should call up the front office and tell them to reconsider. Since you’re so intelligent and know so much about the intricacies of the sport.
  2. Here we gooo
  3. You’re just so much smarter than everyone else here. But you don’t need to make all of us feel so stupid just because we couldn’t figure out what Harper was doing.
  4. Excellent dp turned by Bichette and Semien
  5. Ouch. Kinda feel a bit bad for the guy, he’s absolutely raking when he’s on the field but he’s been dealing with nagging injuries to his legs the last couple seasons. Could potentially prevent him from cashing in when he’s finally a free agent
  6. Lol what in f*** does this even mean
  7. I agree but I can’t see it happening. FO doesn’t want to upset their new 150million dollar man right out of the gate, and Springer doesn’t want to let down his new fan base by missing time before the season even begins. Recipe for disaster
  8. I just rewatched the interview with Ross a few days back to hear exactly what he said... Seems like Springer’s discomfort was mild so they thought nothing of it, however the discomfort continued a for a few days so they finally decided to do an MRI which revealed a “grade 2 oblique sprain”. They seemed to be surprised about the MRI results because Springer was pretty much playing through it already. So they’re resting him for “4-5 days” to see how it heals and if he’ll be able to play through it. Ross said Springer is extremely motivated to play opening day and that unless the front office specifically steps in and says no, he’ll likely be playing. So yeah sounds like he’s gonna play the first few games and then likely hit the DL for a month or two once he aggravates it
  9. Its so nice to have a legit shortstop like Semien ready to shift positions for when Bichette inevitably gets injured. Semien - SS Biggio - 2B Vlad - 3B Tellez - 1B For when Bichette is injured. Could even roll with Lourdes at 1B and Grich/Springer/Teo in the OF. Hoping the Springer injury isn’t too serious
  10. another ******** pickoff by a lefty... why do umpires allow this?
  11. Extra cautious after yesterday’s injury report haha
  12. Isn’t he injured too?
  13. I feel like we see this problem with the Jays every year. Some big player has a small injury, “should be ready for opening day”, then plays game 1 and 2 and gets put on the DL for a month.
  14. Nah lol I mean I hate to say that I think Springer will be out for a few weeks
  15. Yet everyone here is still upset we didn’t sign Paxton...
  16. Hate to say it but I think I agree with you on this
  17. Im a bit surprised Porcello is still available
  18. They’re both slow starters so it might be whoever stays above the Mendoza line getting more play time
  19. I’m glad, he was looking like s*** the first few weeks. If Semien can give us like 115wRC+ that would be huge
  20. This. Buck and Pat aren’t that bad
  21. Inb4 Paxton makes 3 starts and blows his arm out again
  22. Yeah that was an awful misplay in the OF... probably the first time its been Springer in CF with Biggio in LF so hopefully they can get their communication sorted out quickly
  23. Roark probably comes back to start the 2nd? Pitch count still really low but he threw too many pitches this inning
