Exact same scenario as the Donaldson shoulder injury. Everyone and their brother knew it would be a long-term issue and the FO tried to play it off as “fatigue”

Bunch of f***ing liars this front office is. We all could guess he was going back on the DL as soon as he wasn’t in the lineup for game 1 in Oakland Unfortunately this season is likely a wash for Springer. He’s had a similar quad injury before that kept him out for several months. Sucks but hopefully he’ll be ready to go next year. Maybe get him back for a September push this year.
