  1. Damn, he was pitching quite well since coming back (minus the last start). Im ok with Strip getting more starts, he’s looked good this year
  2. Hell yeah, 8 in a row. Slowly gaining ground on the Yankees with lots of season left to play. Bats heating up. This will be an exciting summer for sure
  3. I don’t think anybody expected his exit velo to skyrocket like it has. Glad he’s playing so well. Hoping he doesn’t get popped for roids at some point lol.
  4. The only other option would be Tapia? Who knows why Gurriel/Springer/Jansen are all on the bench today
  5. Well that was anticlimactic. Good job by Tapia for creating a run with his speed there
  6. Love the white panel caps and white Unis. Seems they’ve finally moved away from wearing the Powder blues every damn game
  7. Vladdy - 1 Point - JaysAllMighty, Deadpool Bichette - 2 Points - LTBF Chapman - 3 Points -Omar Teo - 3 Points - Dylan Kirk - 4 Points - Espinal - 5 Points - Biggio - 5 Points - Tapia - 7 Points - wilko, Stangstag Zimmer - 7 Points - Bench - 8 points -
  8. Yeah my point is that if Kirk had more at bats earlier he probably gets locked in/heats up sooner. If you disagree that’s fine.
  9. Gotta wonder how many wins were left on the table by not playing Kirk at DH more often. Think back to the games with Heineman catching and Collins DHing, or Collins catching with Kirk on the bench. Frustrating but at least Kirk is hot right now so he’s harder to bench.
  10. Huh Pulling Stripling for Phelps after a ground ball single that barely got through almost backfired spectacularly. Strip was f***in cruising. Almost lost that Sunday Angels game because he used Borucki instead of Strip and left him in way too long. Almost broke Romano (or did he break him?)
  11. Right. It does weaken the bullpen a bit though. Also a healthy Ryu is probably better than Stripling, but health has been a problem his entire career.
  12. He also carried the rotation in 2020 so yeah, still worth it. Even if he was s*** in the playoff start
