    It is a bit confusing how Vlad has such negative defensive WAR, my eyes tell me he seems to play the position well and i've never heard anyone say he looks bad there (post-2020)

    I think we can all agree Tatis>Harper>Soto>Vlad in terms of athleticism. Could probably move any of those guys to first base if it was needed later in their careers.

    Cleveland is quite literally the last team I would like to see in the WS on the AL side. Maybe tied with Tampa. On the NL side i'd rather see Mets/Dodgers/Padres/Braves I think Seattle/Toronto on the AL side and Padres/Mets on the NL side would be ideal

    God that would be such a boring world series. Guardians vs Cardinals…. Only thing to get excited about would be Pujols

    ALDS seeding is set already. The idea is that the 1st place team (Houston) won’t end up having to play a division winner in the ALDS. NY could end up playing Cleveland.

    f***in crazy. First place all year and they choked in this Braves series, now will only get a wildcard spot.

    Likely all 3 games would be between 12pm-4pm. Could see game 3 being a better time if other teams have wrapped up their series already.

    I hate that Anthony Kay has done absolutely nothing. Just org fodder. Lefty that throws 95 but he’s useless I remember people though the return was light at the time. SWR was seen as a possible diamond in the rough. Turns out both guys suck

    That Stroman trade in hindsight looks pretty bad. He was a solid/reliable/durable pitcher with 1.5 years left and we got almost nothing for him.

    Yeah exactly. Gotta take age/value/body into account. Kirk likely brings back the best return and he’s the most likely to fall off completely IMO

    We have Whit for next year too, for fairly cheap. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him hit close to .300 again and have a 3-4 WAR season. A lot of these guys we got at the deadline could turn out to be great trades down the road. Pop and White both show promise and have several years of control each. Don’t forget that Stripling didn’t look great his first couple seasons here, and he’s an absolute stud this year.
