  1. I think he’s still safe though if the throw isn’t perfect. Unfortunately the throw was perfect.
  2. Everyone complaining about no steals…. Then everyone complains when they try and steal haha
  3. That was a perfect throw. Ah well
  4. Performance anxiety
  5. The pen is good, perfectly serviceable but we’re definitely lacking a 2nd elite arm after Romano.
  6. Schneider really does love Cimber. He gave him the save against KC after all. Im certain if you asked JS to order the relievers, Cimber is his #2 and Garcia is #3 with Mayza vs Lefties right behind. He also tends to go to Cimber a lot with guys on base thinking he can get a DP. Sometimes it works but Cimber doesn’t have enough swing and miss for those situations IMO.
  7. Don’t forget Angels pen is s***. If we keep it close we have a chance still.
  8. I went in August. I guess April probably wouldn’t be too bad but if I ever went again I’d definitely try getting seats underneath the overhang behind homeplate just in case. I don’t like sitting in the sun all game, pasty white skin doesn’t handle it well haha
  9. “Errors”
  10. April 8 Vladdy - 2 Points Bichette - 2 Points Belt - 4 Points Varsho - 4 Points Kirk - 4 Points Springer - 4 Points - Jonn, Dylan Chapman - 4 Points Merrifield - 10 Points - Stangstag Espinal - 12 Points Off the bench: 20 Points
  11. Well if you think genetics are an important factor in determining long-term health of an athlete… his father did not age very well. That is, assuming his father’s age is actually true because he had a very odd production curve compared to most guys.
  12. Bro… I mean he MAY have mispoken. He obviously doesn’t speak great English. Which is exactly why he chooses to do most interviews with the translator. Now IDK if he pre-translated his answers beforehand or if they did it more in the moment. Anyways the other stuff I said still stands.
  13. He also said “i know who I am.” And “if it happens it happens” Now maybe there’s some stuff lost in translation here but IMO he’s basically alluding to the fact that we’ve offered him a long term deal but not at the dollar amount he’s looking for.
  14. Yeah they basically turned Teo into Swanson + Keirmaier + Half of Belt’s salary. Now you could argue we should have gotten more for Teo, but how valuable is he really? 3 years of a mid to back-end reliver is fair for both sides. Also interesting note, Teo is the 2nd highest paid player on the Mariners roster this year… after Robbie Ray
  15. Yep. Buy tickets ASAP because games sell out. I’d recommend somewhere behind homeplate since you get covered by the overhang. I sat near the 3B side in the bleachers and it was f***ing boiling that day, ended up leaving by the 7th inning because it was so hot.
  16. Yeah that seems completely wrong on Varsho. Probably skewed a bit with that Chapman error in game 2 that cost a couple runs too. And Bo also has a couple errors already.
  17. Check out the Mets new scoreboard hahaha
  18. The curve was all over the place, seemed like every time he threw it he missed by a foot. Still a solid start though considering how bad the game began.
  19. I think Manoah pretty much does it too. Basically any pitchers that constantly shake off the catcher.
  20. f***ing called it
  21. Its actually 5-6, Renfroe is 4. But yeah, embarrassing
  22. That was a bad inning by Swanson… lucky to still be winning this. Phew
  23. Swanson next inning??
  24. f*** yeahhh Bo
