Does it really make a difference if he’s hitting 4th or 5th? At most they’d swap him and Chapman and its a difference of 1 spot. Its like arguing Vlad should be 2nd over 3rd. End of the day it doesn’t really matter. They obviously feel the L-R balance is more important than the actual spots. Pena lead off for the Astros all year in 2022 BTW
