  1. Yeah MLB is f***ing nuts to go through with this, especially after German just did the same thing and didn’t get tossed. Plus Max has deep ties in the MLBPA
  2. Taiwan has its own league so… technically yes? Mainland China has other problems
  3. I think Vancouver could do well with an MLB team due to the massive asian population there.
  4. You should really go down to the dome for a game then. If you’re a reasonable distance. The new renos definitely feel fresh and its nice to experience the game live every so often
  5. To be clear i'm not advocating for going to 20+ games per year. A handful each year is usually enough for me. But I live like an hour away. I was more shocked by the people here that were saying they haven't been to a game in years
  6. Yeah, you do it if you're a fan. This is some TB Rays level complaining.
  7. I have no problems with the distance or price of the go train tbh. The only factor I absolutely hate is riding home with all the loud idiots in a packed train after the game. Literally a terrible experience.
  8. Are you watching the games or looking at fangraphs
  9. Wow yall are crazy. I love going to games with my dad/friends/whoever
  10. Abreu bloop/weak hit, Tucker strong liner hit, then Pena homer off Cimber. All with 2 outs yes.
  11. Mainly looking at the FIP/xFIP. And looking at him as a depth starter/spot starter. Anyways I don’t think he’ll be great or anything like that, just meant he’s better than what most people on this board think of him. He’ll be a useful piece.
  12. If the Jays scored another run to tie it in the 8th like they should have, John probably goes with Swanson. I just don’t really understand the decision of 2-1 = Pop while 2-2 = Swanson. With a day off Thursday. Why not just go Swanson?
  13. I kind of get it. Wanting to end the start on a high note, day off tomorrow so the bullpen should have been ok to deploy. I just don’t understand why you’d pull him for Pop though. Should have been Swanson/Cimber/Romano to finish the game/keep it close. Maybe Berrios’ leg was starting to hurt again. Maybe the other Bullpen guys needed rest so they went with Pop. IDK. But Swanson was warming so it seems really stupid that John decided to go with Pop because they failed to score in the 8th. Game was still 2-1 at that point and Pressly has been shaky.
  14. Astros scored and we didn’t. Bad bullpen showed up.
  15. His projections for this season are actually kinda decent and I feel like there’s room for improvement just from watching him last year.
  16. Puzzling moves tonight. Pinch running for Kirk was the only good move
  17. Mitch White is gonna be a lot better than people are expecting
  18. Im confused why we used Pop to start the inning in the first place. Its a 1 run game, you use your best guys. Especially with the offday tomorrow. Pop is like 5th or 6th best guy in the pen and they’ve mostly been using him early in games/mop up duty.
  19. Jays gonna score 2-3 runs now just to tease
  20. His pitches didn’t have much movement tonight
