    If it makes anyone feel better, in Belt's monstrous 2021 year he still started off very poorly. 2021: 11 games, 25 plate appearances, 2 singles, 1 homer, 4 walks, 10 strikeouts 2023: 6 games, 25 plate appearances, 1 double, 2 walks, 15 strikeouts Seeing some SF fans on reddit say he seems to always start off very cold. He's not a lost cause yet... give him at least a few weeks

    In my experience gates 3/4/5 usually aren’t too busy. The ones next to ripleys but up the stairs a bit. Those gates would have you in the 200s right above RF

    Best scenario is Barger rakes AAA this year and is able to handle 3B, we move Varsho to CF and pickup a solid corner OF bat on a short-term deal. Kirk taking 50% of the DH starts should be adequate.

    I think we sign Vlad and let both Bo/Chap walk when the time comes.

    Could easily be 2-8 or even 8-2. Pretty much all those games were winnable with a half-decent start. Glad we came out on top, but the starting pitching needs to do better going forward. Tougher teams like the Yankees and Rays etc. won’t be giving up 5+ runs each game.
