They haven’t supplemented the team with any substantial free agents. Benintendi is their largest FA contract in franchise history I believe. They could have gone out and signed someone like Conforto, Pederson, Gausman, Robbie Ray, or a bunch of any other mid-high tier free agents in recent years but they haven’t really.

Yeah just glancing over the stats over the last few days, there’s no way that HR rate is sustainable

Fans: “Why did Schneider pull the starter early, he gave up 2 runs early but he was cruising!!” Next week: “Why didn’t Schneider go to pen! He tried to squeeze 1 more inning out of the starter and it backfired.”

We’re scoring enough, its our pitching that’s been a problem this week.

Don’t forget that team was like .500 until the trade deadline. Its only May 2nd

Better than him hitting a double

Fun game. Trying to get every arm on the roster to give up a homer this series. We’re pretty close.

Tell me Schneider is gonna make the same mistake of trying to use Yimi for multiple innings again…

Any chance he’s better than Belt/Biggio?? Could probably send Biggio to AAA and give him a shot

    We are terrible
  17. Stangstag
So stupid. Lets give the best hitter in the lineup another chance to f*** us with 1st base open and 2 outs

I was sayin, temper the expectations on the bullpen. They could just as easily turn in a s***** week. We’ll see how these 4 innings go…

    Why not walk Yoshida? Stupid
  20. Stangstag

    Walk Yoshida

Idk if I like Pop here, would prefer Swanson or Yimi

He’s like oppo-Cito. For some guys like Chapman, it works. For others (Jansen, Varsho, etc it doesn’t) Almost like 1 approach at hitting doesn’t apply to all players

Same, must’ve been a broadcast issue
