    There’s absolutely no way the jays are selling at the deadline. Even if they’re under 500. At worst they’ll stand pat. But they’ll likely make a handful of small moves for relievers/bench pieces like they have in the past.

    They haven’t supplemented the team with any substantial free agents. Benintendi is their largest FA contract in franchise history I believe. They could have gone out and signed someone like Conforto, Pederson, Gausman, Robbie Ray, or a bunch of any other mid-high tier free agents in recent years but they haven’t really.

    He’s like oppo-Cito. For some guys like Chapman, it works. For others (Jansen, Varsho, etc it doesn’t) Almost like 1 approach at hitting doesn’t apply to all players
