    Pretty much happened with Berrios last year too. Seems like we get absolutely f***ed on 1 or 2 guys each year completely dropping the ball. I guess that balances out the injury luck

    Yeah more divisions sounds awful. If the ALE got reduced to 4 it would probably be Tampa moving, making us stuck with Yankees/Redsox/Os

    Games getting canceled now in NY, Jays should be safe with the dome but they’re saying it’ll be closed roof today

    Yeah that last game against the Astros was… suspicious to say the least.

    Didn’t Manoah go from solid to literally worthless in less than a season for no particular reason?

    Yup, after the balancing of the schedule the next clear improvement should be a divisional realignment. Go back to 4 divisions, AL/NL East/West. Probably won’t happen until we get 2 more expansion teams though to balance the numbers. Top 3 from each division make the playoffs, top 4 all get a bye. Its not perfect but its way better than multiple 90+ win teams missing the playoffs in favor of the Guardians with 88 wins

    Seems every time I watch the Redsox game highlights there’s a Yoshida misplay of some kind. He looks really bad out there

    I have no idea but the numbers were way too good for what is a lineup consisting of 50% replacement level/league average guys

    They go after a bunch of injury-prone players though, its not entirely unexpected. Stanton, Donaldson, Rodon, etc

    Yeah he’s a pro athlete, priority #1 is to take care of your body and he just hasn’t done that

    Trouble is that he CANT do damage on bad pitches. He can make contact on pretty much anything, but he’s swinging at too many bad pitches and not barreling those.

    One thing people haven’t pointed out is that he will likely be hanging around Ryu and Chad Green rehabbing at the Florida complex, that could be helpful for him to be around some big league guys. He and Ryu were good buds in his rookie year IIRC.
