    There’s clearly some unexplained issue going on that the statcast s*** doesn’t understand. Like you can’t just keep saying “oh the statcast is painted red, the numbers will come around” when there’s been a gap between the two for several years now. And FWIW, his sweet spot % is abysmal so far this year I do not think Vlad will turn things around in a Blue Jays uniform. If he finishes the year strong f***ing trade him for the best offer you get.

    Yeah I don't think he ever sniffs anything close to his 2021 season again, at least not with this org. It might take a fresh start for him somewhere else to finally realize half of his potential.

    That doesn't really matter, a hot team is always hard to face. But also it was three 1-run games (we threw 2 of them away with errors and 1 was a BS 5-inning game), not like we got blown out. A bit of luck on the hitting side and it could have been a sweep for us. Bottom line is this team is the exact same as last year. Same strengths same warts.

He really should have been getting reps for LF all along. - Springer gets injured, Varsho slides to RF - KK gets injured, Varsho slides to CF - Varsho gets injured, KK mans CF Seems dumb by the front office to not have him training LF for the obvious Schneider platoon too.

    Royals fans online are apparently convinced that John Schneider is the reason the game only went 5 innings. Umpires wanted to tarp the field earlier but JS said NO! So they continued playing and the rain ruined the field which is why they couldn’t continue the game after. Apparently this is the story the Royals broadcast/media is rolling with.

    Umps knew there was a 1-hour window to play, Royals grounds crew delayed resuming the game through that entire window. Now no way they can finish without screwing tomorrow’s schedule, so its final.

    Its so sad that we can predict this with like 99% certainty. At least it will be more fun to watch though. A lineup of Springer Bo Vlad Turner Varsho Martinez Schneider Jansen Barger All mashing homers, with a sick rotation of Berrios, Manoah, Francis, Espino, Zeuch
