    We’ve seen plenty of teams be .500 at the deadline and go on a tear to make a deep postseason run. That could definitely still happen for the Jays, but it’s very difficult to imagine that happening based off the way these guys have looked in 2023/24

    Its probably a side-effect of having a guy like Atkins (former player) as GM. Gives the players too much credit/control

    Yeah no f***ing s*** we’ve all been saying this. But apparently “the front office knows better” Looks like the front office lets the players decide when they go on the IL, which is a recipe for disaster. Most athletes will never remove themselves from the game voluntarily.
