  1. Yes, with someone of exactly equal fantasy production, like Gyorko or Gregorius.
  2. It worked out pretty well with my Seager and Syndergaard picks.
  3. wOBA isn't a category. Runs matter, hits matter, OBP matters. Quantity matters. Power is his only draw and he hasn't had a .200 ISO either of the last two years.
  4. TBH the difference between Tulo and Crawford at this point probably isn't even worth a utility guy like Pearce. It goes without saying that Benintendi is by far the most valuable piece in the deal.
  5. He'll run a sub-100 wRC+ this year and injuries will force him out of baseball by age 35.
  6. I'm sorry you invested too much and bought in on him too late, but it is what it is. He's just not that good any more.
  7. Not a bad fantasy comp, actually, but Swanson I think will bring more SB and R.
  8. Actually that's a perfectly useful index for telling you what happened in this format last season.
  9. Tulowitzki is essentially a replacement level shortstop in this format now. Here are some worthless boobs who were better last year: Didi Gregorius Asdrubal Cabrera Eduardo Nunez Elvis Andrus Jedd Gyorko (push) All younger and either waiver wire guys or available for dirt cheap.
  10. Tulo is 32 and didn't finish inside the Top 250 in this format last year. I don't know where you get off talking about probabilities, his final decline is a near certainty.
  11. Don't bring boxy into this!
  12. Yes, well, you're a tomfool enslaved by thoughtless projections. In the near future Swanson will ISO .150+ with a 10%+ BB rate and strong avriges.
  13. No, I think you're just underestimating how close Tulowitzki is to the cliff. Nobody is saying Swanson is Derek Jeter.
  14. A .744 OPS may seem mediocre, but a 117 wRC+ isn't. I'm not in love with Swanson so I'm not going to the mat for him any more than this, but you guys are irrationally high on Tulo, and as dynasty assets I don't think they're anywhere close; Swanson is much more valuable. In a redraft, I would take Tulo, but this isn't that.
  15. Yes. Yes. An empty .280, maybe.
  16. Or he could hit .300 and slug .450. You guys are leaning too heavily on a pre-season projection for a 2nd year player, Steamer doesn't know who Swanson is and neither do we, but we do have a pretty good idea who Tulo is at this point and where he is on the aging curve.
  17. I'd say that's accurate. Swanson will beat Tulo in 4/7 categories this year, and that's if Tulo actually stays healthy. Tulo has been a league average hitter for two full seasons and he's now officially old.
  18. Same applies to McCown himself. Cox only ever knew hockey, and Bob knew baseball 30 years ago. Other than that they don't know jack s***.
  19. Only you and spittin can approve trades right now in Yahoo.
  20. So Frenchsoup's roster now includes: Edwin Encarnacion Devon Travis Troy Tulowitzki Russell Martin Jose Bautista Kevin Pillar for some reason JAy Happ Marcus Stroman I think I'm sensing a theme here.
  21. Do we need some more assistant commissioners to approve trades?
  22. I think Swanson alone is worth more than JB & Martin in a deep dynasty.
  23. Remember when Chad Jenkins got skinny but still sucked balls and also we drafted him over Mike Trout?
