Jeeze, I remember when he was Texas' big piece to land Halladay. Yikes. He has a couple of things going for him: - He has a well above average walk rate while having a fairly average k rate - He already has a couple of seasons with an above average offensive line - Seattle is notorious for ruining perfectly fine hitters, making a breakout slightly more likely IMO - He was good in AAA when sent down Obviously I'd prefer that he be minor league depth but I'd be of having him on the 25 man. I could see him becoming a switch hitting Lyle Overbay, which is a fine player. -
Those are due to the dynasty league that we recently formed. Most exciting team to follow these days is probably the Cubs, can't wait to see their offseason.

Yeah flafson is pretty dumb. Some of these guys think they are invincible or something and decide to drive like idiots. No matter how many times something like this happens, these people never change their mindset until it's too late. I went to school with a guy who bragged about how he always drove drunk, took videos of himself while driving drunk. Pretty sure he'll end up dead at some point, or worse end up in jail because he killed someone with his utter stupidity. But until something happens, he'll keep doing what he's doing. Sad.
