  1. So that NJH can ninja grab a shitbag in the waiver draft.
  2. Interesting. Thanks.
  3. Some of them aren't even factually correct you lummox.
  4. Is Estrada not arb eligible still? Stroman, Dickey, Hutch, Osuna, possibly Kazmir or Samardzija. I would wet myself if we nabbed Heyward for RF and moved JB to first.
  5. Don't tease me with this Heyward business.
  6. I was under the impression you were born deaf rather than hearing impaired through injury or illness. My mother in law was born deaf and she can't hear anything but my father in law became hearing impaired via injury and he enjoys music but he has to crank up the bass. Is it the same for you? Sorry for going on a tangent, I'm just curious but you don't need to indulge my curiosity if you don't want to.
  7. I could have sworn you said you were deaf?
  8. What are you talking about? They have the same team minus Price, and plus Travis and Stroman.
  9. Full year of Stroman, Tulowitzki, Revere, Travis, money coming off the books with Buehrle. Offense shouldn't be markedly worse next season and Rogers may be inclined to up payroll. I'm not too worried and we are getting a great baseball guy as president who will probably put a lot more emphasis on a stat-heavy FO.
  10. Even though he's younger than both of them.
  11. You wanted to trade Bautista and Encarnacion awhile ago, likely were not in favour of the Donaldson trade since he's not 14. We know what you'd prefer and that's having a team with an average age constantly under 25 that never wins.
  12. Some of them don't have their heads too far up their ass.
  13. Yeah because being in first place with an older team is such a drag
  14. Using the savings to pay for a free agent pitcher is an even worse use of funds.
  15. Fair enough. Perhaps the fact that Tulo is one of my favourite players even prior to the deal is causing me to be a bit biased.
  16. I don't understand why though. Tulowitzki's defence has been quite good and him scuffling at the plate had nothing to do with injury. He stayed on the field all year long. Of course he could break his hip again but there's nothing to indicate that being imminent or anything. I don't see him as any more of a risk than someone like Scherzer or Kershaw.
  17. If he passes a physical, sure. There's a difference between a guy making a bit more than he's worth and Ryan Howard.
  18. I can't believe this thread still has legs.
  19. Absolutely. Yes, terrible. How embarrassing it must be for a playoff hopeful to lose to such a terrible team like mine, if that would ever possibly happen.
  20. It's not like he had an injury plagued season. It was just really weird. Then he gets injured in an incredibly fluky way to an area of his body that has always been healthy. Frankly, he stayed on the field this year and I'm not even close to writing him off. Anyone remember some guy named Joey Votto?
  21. He's better than Rusney Castillo and you have no problem rostering that guy.
  22. Ugh your so dumn I can't wait until Tulo puts up 6 WAR next year and shuts your stupid face
  23. Sorry brah, nothing else to use the claim on really and I'm running out of time.
  24. This is the second year in a row that I grab Castillo with the #1 waiver. E: yes I know he suxx but surely I can get some dumb dumb to give me something good for him just like last year.
  25. Pretty sure you're greatly underestimating the average age here.
