  1. I'm just trying to help manage your expectations. I can guarantee you that Colabello has taken those two pitches numerous times in the past. ST is the dangerous time when people get overly worked up over nothing. If you want to do that, your choice, but it isn't really productive.
  2. It's really not.
  3. Let's relax there.
  4. Yeah, he's recovering from surgery and they are taking their time. They have lots of good options, why rush him?
  5. Lol @ Hutchinson Whatta casual
  6. I mean, I guess technically anyone could play at first, but why would you want him to?
  7. I really don't understand this Pillar leading off pushed ********. I really don't. I mean, his only above average offensive tool is speed, and chances of him having the green light while the big bats hit are not high.
  8. I personally won't go near that cesspool.
  9. And he isn't even getting shot down, lmao. reddit suxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
  10. JFaS rarely ever seems to think in anything but black and white, I've noticed. While I value his knowledge, he's too stubborn about things and comes to conclusions too quickly for my liking.
  11. You should also keep in mind that Washington DC is almost as big a shithole as Baltimore is. No need for that commute if you go that route.
  12. I saw no implication that TCA thinks it's not OK, my little SJW buddy
  13. I differ. I think watching Bryce Harper live makes that choice for you alone. Plus, Baltimore has a gorgeous park and it's not located in the ghetto. You also have the bonus of watching the Jays beat a s***** team among all the s***** fans of that s***** team. Sounds like an easy choice to me.
  14. Yes I got that from your previous post where you said that exact same thing.
  15. Good luck. I truly hope Puig doesn't die on you, trust me, it sucks. That's why I was hoping to trade him to zeros, the *******.
  16. Yeah, was just personal opinion. He has amazing pitching and a good offense. He'll likely have Manaea up this year (his inclusion really made me waffle on the deal I eventually accepted) which will make him even more deadly. I personally feel like he's a clear second but my opinion doesn't mean a whole lot, obviously.
  17. I value what Dan Farnsworth says, he's my new favourite. f*** BP, Fangraphs offers everything they do except better and free. Anyway, his report was quite glowing and eased my concerns about his AA performance (and apparently he had a fracture in his foot anyway). 65 FV is enough for me to roll the dice. Puig is a risk too, anyway, and Reed is likely a very safe bat. I'm not worried that he will replace Jon Singleton, who suxxxxxxx. E: I say anyway too much. I need to read more books.
  18. A bit of a saving grace, I know you need an OF upgrade but I'm not sure this deal would have made you better in the short term and I'm your biggest fan this season. I think you've got the second best team and I hope you take it to those cheesers Min and Donger.
  19. Why else do you think I accepted him, shitface? Because he was very average in AA at 22?
  20. I don't think Hendricks has any more upside than he's shown and I've never said that. There's just nothing to really indicate he's been lucky or that he's due for a bed s***ing. Throws strikes, sequences well and has a pretty nice change. He's a really smart guy and I think for someone who doesn't top 90 mph, it's definitely an asset when it comes to having to make adjustments. A mid-3 ERA guy on the far and away best team in the game with a K/BB that might reach 4 is a hell of an asset. He doesn't need to tap into any "upside" to attain that.
  21. He's really not much like Gordon at all, though. He'll steal more bases, strike out more, walk less and might grow into more power. He's really a guy who will be Melvin Upton, prime Hanley or anyone in-between.
  22. My love for Hendricks is completely logical, but then remembered part of his appeal is supposed to be that people undervalued him, which NJH clearly does not. I really like Manaea too. Was very hard to go the other way.
  23. I had to send back big Clay though and that kind of weighed on me maybe more than it should have.
  24. Yeah I would take Turner over Zimmer methinks but Correa kind of inhibits my need for him. Dunno what Dinger is smoking. I think you're a bit harsh on Zimmer though. Quit stat scouting and use your eyes.
  25. So you're saying I should've taken the other deal...dammit
