I'm sorry, but there's no situation where the appropriate response is to hurl a hard projectile 90+ mph at a defenseless person. That's really an attitude that needs to be fixed. There are pitchers who stare guys down too, should they get a bat to the knee? It's really the same thing. -
I wonder what the reaction would be if a batter struck out, the pitcher fist pumped, and the next batter avenged his teammate by walking up to the mound and cracking the pitcher one time in the ribs? I bet that player would receive a lengthy suspension. Baseball makes no sense.

The problem with people who use "the eye test", and this should be obvious, is the question of how many of them watch every team equally? I would be willing to bet everything I own that you watched the Jays far more often than the Rays. I would even wager that the only time you watched the Rays is when they played the Blue Jays. How is the obvious bias here not apparent to you? Do you not think you're going to have a higher opinion of a guy whom you see make many nice plays all year compared to a guy you see maybe 20 games a year? It's actually comical to me how people will actually argue this. Also simply amazing how many times the best defender at position X plays for their favourite team. If Kiermaier was a Jay and Pillar was a Ray, I have no problems guaranteeing that your position would be reversed.

I don't care what the intentions are. People know exactly how he's going to argue; he'll introduce a topic, cherry pick stats to suit his needs while waving off counter arguments as if they aren't even worth addressing because he's always right and to explore any other possibility is meaningless. He acts this way LITERALLY EVERY TIME, I've posted in this thread already pointing it out and still people keep tripping over themselves just to bash their heads against the wall and get frustrated. I really wouldn't give a s*** if people are masochistic but I put this dolt on ignore for a reason and it's annoying when entire threads get derailed thanks to his condescending ********, especially when he gets quoted.

It's not out of reach at all if he actually stays on the field. He's had near 6 win seasons multiple times while playing 120 games.

Well, I recall him getting pissed off on Twitter because someone implied that he's one of the worst hitters on the team, because he is. He arrogantly dismissed it as if it wasn't even a possibility, I guess because of batting average? He started this off season with the goal in mind to play the crowd in an attempt to secure the leadoff spot. I'm less upset that Gibby named him the leadoff hitter and more upset that his little plan actually worked. He hasn't even done anything this spring to convince people who buy into SSS.

Fewer people use Rogers internet now. They should probably cut back on investing and advertising for it, maybe just drop the service altogether since it's not as profitable as it used to be. -
