Sorry guys, I was chasing a Squirtle. Also didn't realize it was my pick when I posted my last reply as I was still slogging through the hilarious David Jacob pick.
I kinda had some high hopes for him after he escaped Seattle but I'm over it by now. I suppose it isn't a terrible signing but I don't understand the urgency. It's like they are predicting some kind of second half Bautista-esque breakout.
He didn't really seem to have control of even the pitch he decided to go with most frequently:

Seems to be the case. If he's struggling in an honest fashion, it's fine but the fact that he keeps trying to make this pitch mix work is just infuriating. He just comes off as a cocky little prick tbh.
I'm gonna count internationals signed young for this purpose
