  1. Then what was the point of the thread in the first place? It's not so cut and dry. You can't just say that a guy needs to be DFA'd without analyzing the good and the bad.
  2. He's got a HR/FB North of 15% and a BABIP north of .350. Swstr still pretty good, gb% pretty good, walk rate pretty good, Steamer has him as a 3.5 ish FIP guy ROS. Really, I'd just stay the course with him.
  3. If you're going to start a thread like this, it would probably be advisable to back up your point of view with an argument.
  4. Yeah, get yer uninformed opinions out of here, pleb.
  5. ^ Owns Steve Pearce in fantasy
  6. If Steve Pearce is available like it's being said he is, Jays really need to get on that. Good hitter, versatile defender, very good glove at 1B, can play OF and even 2B adequately. I don't think the Rays would have a big issue dealing him to the Jays.
  7. I'll be picking in the morning, so don't wait up for me.
  8. Hey, I think you can do whatever you damn please. I'm just saying that drafting the guys you draft will drive you towards being the LA Angels or White Sox of BORED.
  9. No one said that but for your own sake you should probably stop drafting like a dummy.
  10. Are you ever recommending the league step in when Gibbers gives away good assets for picks that rot and waste away?
  11. The problem with that is the Jays are in the same position as the teams who would want to acquire him. It's like saying the Red Sox should deal Price now to get a better return before he opts out of his deal next year(?). You're also not going to get much more than what that comp pick would net you anyway, in all likelihood. All you're doing is throwing in the towel in the middle of the playoff race, drastically reducing the chances of winning the division and sending a clearly negative message to the fanbase. It's just not very wise.
  12. He doesn't walk enough to be Gordon. I think absolute best case is an Adam Jones type tbh with more strikeouts. Which is good, but I just can't stomach the 6% bb, 25% k profile.
  13. Frenchsoup is seriously shaking the faith of everything I thought I knew about fantasy baseball. First round pick lost for the year, only 3 players in the top 100, obvious homer picks constantly, drafting absolute no-name prospects when people with actual skill are on the board, pitching staff is based purely on volume of innings...and he's leading his division. I seriously don't get it.
  14. He's really fallen off. I was in love with him in like, late May.
  15. On a hunch, I'm gonna say probably not.
  16. Fantastic. I left Kyle on the bench in all 3 leagues. fuuuuuck
  17. Good point. I was actually thinking about that because now I own him in two other leagues. What a double whammy. RIP Triston. The Abom curse is real.
  18. UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHh
  19. We care. Literally all of us.
  20. It's kind of subjective, though. For example, I roll my eyes when I see a user name hearkening back to the "glory days".
  21. Please, Zeuch blows. I think he's probably trying to trade up to nab Jared Carkuff.
  22. Was he ever something else?
