    Actually worse because it's easier to quantify in fantasy terms. GBs don't matter, SIERA doesn't matter, plenty of guys k more than he does, and ERA is good but not really special. By this logic, Kyle Hendricks might be the best pitcher in baseball. Is he? Of course not, it's a silly question, but he's still better than Stroman and has been for longer.

    John Lackey has thrown around 200 innings of #2 starter stuff for 4 straight years and he always gets drafted later than he deserves. I don't know that I've ever paid out the ass for a young ace in any dynasty and zero regrets about it. Closest is maybe Braun for Harvey. Gimme a Max Scherzer or David Price over Cole and Syndergaard every time.
